Shalom Institute Amphitheater – Malibu

The Shalom Institute is a Jewish Community Center in Malibu, California, hosting camps and conferences dedicated to experiential education and community engagement.

By introducing dynamic shade sails above the custom wooden amphitheater designed by Courtland Studio, we created a functional and inviting space that shades visitors while casting soft shadows across the stage. This redesigned space serves as a meaningful gathering place where people can learn and build community.
